LWP People


LWP is a Western Australian owned national property company founded in 2000 when Sanwa Managing Director Danny Murphy put together a syndicate to buy Sanwa’s 52.8 per cent share in Ellenbrook.

Ellenbrook is Australia’s most awarded new town and currently one of the country’s five largest projects.
 

Danny Murphy, Managing Director


Danny has over 25 years’ experience in Australia’s urban development industry. Formerly General Manager (Operations) with Delfin, one of Australia’s largest land development companies, he moved to Western Australia in 1992. Following a period as Managing Director of the Japanese-owned Sanwa Property Group, he formed LWP in 2000.  

Alan Neville, General Manager, Finance & Administration


Alan joined the group in 1996 and is responsible for the management of all corporate, financial and administrative related matters of the company and the projects under its direct management.

Phil Cuttone, General Manager, Development


After a 16 year career in State and Local Government, Phil joined the group in 1997.  Phil has managed the development of a variety of projects for LWP, including masterplanned communities and boutique lifestyle developments.  Phil has an excellent understanding of the approvals process and an ability to find innovative solutions to meet the needs of government agencies.

Ian Wilks, General Manager, New South Wales


Ian has spent 30 years working in the property industry, primarily in the areas of land development, urban renewal, residential construction and project management. He has worked widely within the Western Australian property and housing industries, in both the city and regionally. Ian is based in Branxton in the Hunter Valley, and is implementing the LWP’s plans to establish a significant presence in New South Wales.

Peter Gleeson, General Manager, Sales & Business Development


Peter has over 20 years’ experience in commercial and industrial sales and leasing, including the directorship of a national company. He has also operated his own commercial real estate practice for eight years. Peter has been involved in property development with LWP since 2004, specifically in the areas of acquisitions and project management.
